Taslima Rashid

Tas is a senior specialist registrar in HIV and sexual health, working at 56 Dean Street Clinic, which is part of Chelsea and Westminster Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. She has been interested in women’s health and well-being for a long time and felt that the sexual health and HIV sector had huge potential to drive change for good in the overlooked and marginalised members of the community. She volunteers with Medical Justice, an organisation that utilises medics to provide medical reports on behalf of detainees for their immigration cases and in her spare time, attempts to maintain her Bengali heritage by cooking bangla food for friends and family.
