Sophia Forum trustees have been working tirelessly since its inception in 2008 to meet our advocacy aims and deliver meaningful events and resources to the communities we support. As both our voice and footprint grow, we are keen for our team to grow.
As part of the strategic review, the Board has identified the need for a senior executive leading on the development of the organisation.
The successful applicant will work closely with the board of trustees in taking the organisation forward at an exciting stage since its inception in 2008. Having recently secured funding for 3 years we are now in a position to recruit staff to take forward our projects. Our new collaborative project with two organisations Positively UK and NAM (Aidsmap) will be developing a holistic peer support programme for Women Ageing with HIV.
Due to the nature of the work, this post has a genuine occupational requirement to be open to women only and is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1
