The Sophia Forum Campaigner Panel will shape our campaigns and make change happen
Our first cohort is fully recruited and getting started on their one year programme. We are seeking funding for a second group – please watch this space for updates if you are interested in joining.
The Sophia Forum Campaigner Panel will recruit, train and mentor a group of women living with HIV as advocates to lead the development and delivery of the We Are Still Here campaign.
We Are Still Here is a campaign by women living with HIV that aims to highlight their experiences and priorities to address health inequity and gender inequality in the HIV response. Previously focussed on older women, part of the redevelopment of the campaign includes a shift to focus on women across the life course, so women of all ages and in all their diversity are welcome to apply.
Campaigners will collaboratively develop Sophia Forum campaigning strategies and deliver advocacy and influencing activities. They will build their campaigning and advocacy skills through a supportive process of training, skills-building and campaign activities.
