Peer Caseworker Role – Menopause Clinic

To provide integrated HIV and menopause peer support within a specialist HIV and menopause clinic at the Mortimer Market Centre (Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust).  This role is part of an exciting collaboration between Sophia Forum, University College London’s Institute for Global Health and the Mortimer Market Centre.  This project aims to pilot and evaluate a new clinic service model (including a joint clinic with the lead consultant Dr Shema Tariq) for people living with HIV affected by menopause.

Are you are woman living with HIV and have a specific interest in providing peer support to women going through the menopause journey? As part of our ongoing GROWS program, we have partnered with UCL Global Health and the Mortimer Market Centre to provide support for women as they grow older with HIV. The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to learn about research and support the evaluation of this pilot.

The successful applicant’s role will not start until April 2025. Further information will be provided via expressions of interest. Applicants will need to have completed the GROWS peer mentor training program to apply for this post.
