Our Intern – Katherine Davis

Katherine DavisKatherine is passionate about HIV research. She is a PhD candidate at Imperial College London, with a BA in Biological Sciences from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Control of Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

Before starting her PhD, Katherine worked as a research assistant assessing the implementation of a targeted approach to HIV testing for children and adolescents in Zimbabwe.  She has also worked in Trypanosome genetics at the University of Bristol and for the International Society of Neglected Tropical Diseases press core.

Katherine has supported Sophia Forum’s work for over a year, working on projects including WISE-UP+ and Invisible No Longer.
